Description

When you hear the name condensed milk, your first reaction is most probably, “what’s that?” and you are not alone. In short, condensed milk like this one is a thick longlife milk made from ordinary milk boiled with sugar, so most of the liquid evaporates.

In other words, condensed milk is a sweet milk particularly suitable as the milk component in many specialised coffees such as Iced Coffee and Latte, and in desserts and baked goods, the perfect choice due to its creamy consistency, flavour and long shelf life.

It is also very popular in southern Europe and Latin America, used to make homemade caramel, known as 'dulce de leche'. Dulce de leche is quick and easy to make. All you have to do is heat the condensed milk in a pan over a medium heat and constantly stir it to transform the milk into a thick caramel, which can be used to make fudge, desserts, etc.

Condensed milk is therefore very versatile, and you are also guaranteed a quality product with the well-known Nestlé brand.

Nestlé was founded in 1866, and is headquartered in Vevey, Switzerland. Nestlé is the world's largest food corporation, marketing many well-known brands in various segments such as Nespresso®, Kit Kat, Vittel and Häagen-Dazs.
